You were right - was someone who knew me. She's back, safe and sound. Thanks again.

Date: 2005-06-09 06:48 am (UTC)Look, I know you're likely strung out eight ways to Sunday and back, like my dad used to say. How about I come up this weekend? My mother is willing to drop me off (by willing I mean guilted into it against her major objections, and you have no idea how much play that CNN special gets on google.com) and I don't mind spending a couple hours playing understanding guy.
Plus, it's not like I have football practice to miss or anything.

Date: 2005-06-09 11:35 am (UTC)A visit? As in you coming here? Sure you want to risk the madhouse? *grins* Actually, that'd be brilliant, it really would. I'm not really up for going back into the city yet - and Remy wants to make sure it's safe.
Whatever day works for you works for me. And if things get too freaky (I live here, you wouldn't believe the stuff I see sometimes) we can go hang about with Remy in the boathouse. I promise not to overwhelm you with too many people. Besides, yeah, understanding guy would be good. Problem with having an empath for a boyfriend - when I go balmy, he goes balmy too, and my emotional state the last day or so really did a number on the poor bastard. So having someone to talk to who can distract me with the magic talk... it'll help a lot.
Football... this'd be the armoured version you Yanks play, right? *grins* 'S not football if you don't use your feet.
