Thanks for the headsup re Carlie - she did mention something about staying, but didn't actually give me details. *wry* And your timing's good - I've actually got to go to Alaska for a few days starting the 26th, so Georgina will have someone to look after her. I think I'll quite miss her, actually. And you and Carlie can look after and distract Hank for me, since he's got his hands full with Billy and medlab, and me being away won't help matters at all. I figure she'll be fine for a few days without me. Big girl and all. ;)

The waffles are indeed a Bartlet thing - you didn't get Mom's special waffles, did you? Too much food after Thanksgiving for waffle extravaganza. It doesn't help we're all horrible sweet-tooths. Sweet-teeth? Whatever.

No nights for me this week - I'm actually on days, which is nice given it's been stinking hot here. So you can track me down and tell me all the adventures that an old person like me can stand hearing and I can spoil you rotten for the time you're here. ;)

Sounds like you've had yourself some fun. How was seeing the old stomping grounds?

I've been good. Busy as all fuck, but that's to be expected. having an actual schedule helps, since I don't go nuts trying to do everything at once. Even making some progress on the driving - should hopefully be able to take the test in a few weeks.

Meg's good. We've actually had a couple of breakthroughs - she's talking much better and Moira's worked out what her powers are - she synches herself to stuff. Not just people, but to things like electricity and fire. And don't ask Kurt how we found that out. *wry* She's also developed the family habit of getting into trouble - she got herself kidnapped the day you lot left. No harm done - seems I've got old friends as well old enemies.

Oh, and you'll be interested to know. Patches won't be a problem for anyone ever again, or so the word is. Seems like kidnapping little girls is bad for your health.

Presents? Presents are always good - am I going to need sunglasses for this one?

Billy and I are doing fine! :) We have pictures to show you - Alex, Scott and I went out for a family portrait and some individual shots. He behaved like a little angel the whole time. And surprise gifts are good! (There's something for me, right, as well as for His Cuteness?)

Did you have fun? Did anything happen to my car? Is it going to need a bath? Because if so, I'll do it... I missed my shiny toy. *g* No matter what anyone tells you about grownups and cars, they're still shiny toys. Especially convertibles.

I'm glad you'll be home soon... Maddie's going away in a few days, and while I have been very mature and cheerful about it, I'm going to miss her. A lot. Yes, I know, I'm a big sap. ;) But things are going well, and now they're going to be on hold, and... well. I'll miss her. So will Billy... he's getting to know her fairly well, she's spent a lot of time with him. He needs to get to know you, too. :)

No. You're not allowed to see me at all. D'uh! Of course you can come by. Let me know what time you think you'll get in at? My schedule is decent (shock, horror!) these days so even if I'm busy with something or other I should be easy to track down and be dragged away.
