No bagpips. And I'll thank you not to tell Rom that story - she's bad enough without more ideas. But yeah, I'm doing better. Turns out I might never not need the power since me mutation and the way me body operates are all mixed up now, but we're looking at ways to make sure I have enough to function. And I'm getting those lessons in ethics and magic I needed.

It's good being able to study again, in something I'm good at. Ordinary school is so bloody hard.

Sounds like you're doing better yourself. He's good for you.

Do you want me to look into setting up some sort of study program for you? There's got to be a way to make school easier for you.

I remember the brain tests, and yeah, they tend to leave you a bit loopy afterwards. Then again, I think mine was due to me brain trying to crawl out me ears after that demon dimension.

A study program of some sort might be a good idea. They had me in a bunch of remedial classes, but I've done me dash with tutors with the love potion thing. Paige helped sometimes, but towards the end there neither of us was able to concentrate on school - I hardly ever saw here those last couple of weeks, she was out running all the time. Me reading's improving, but you should see me writing when I don't have the spell check to cheat with. And me and numbers are never gunna be friends. One of the people here, a bloke called Craig, is teaching me computer stuff, and he's giving me maths problems to work on when I ain't wading through the study Rom has me doing. But I think I need all the help I can get - I'm not gunna go far with the education I (don't) have, and I don't wanna be stuck in some shitty situation because I can't do better.

Wish I could be there to see Nate's face when you ask him about the monkeys. *grins* I'd say you two are cute together, but that's Frenchie's line. I'll settle for giving you suggestive looks and telling you to go for it.
