Sir,
I need to ask a favor of you, about what we spoke on the other week. The gist of it is this: I've discovered the whereabouts of Catseye's birth family, and she'd like to meet them. I know that it's a reasonably personal matter, and since she hasn't made it public knowledge, I'm not planning on doing so unless she wants it to be so.
Since you're one of the adults she happens to trust a lot, I was wondering if you could come along, as both moral support and as mostly an adult teacher presence, if her parents have questions about the school that I can't answer.
I know it would be important to her, and I think she'll probably need all the support she can get for this.
Sincerely,
JH Forge.

Date: 2005-08-04 07:10 pm (UTC)And Forge . . . "Mr." is not my first name, and you really need not treat it as such. I understand and applaud your desire to show respect for your teachers, and I realize it is unusual, in this culture, to use only a single name--but it is the only name I have. I pledge you I will not consider it disrespectful of you to address me simply as "Kylun."
