I should probably stop in and visit you, rather than just stopping by while you were asleep downstairs, but I don't want to wind up you up while you're recovering, and I thought we might be able to talk about this better if we weren't in the same room.

So, I saw your post saying "no police", and I'd like to talk to you about it. No fighting and no revenge is one thing, however much I'd like to batter the wee shite myself, but I want to go and have a word with our local bloody police department. I'll be honest: I don't know how much it's because it's you that was on the recieving end, and how much of it is just my disgust with what's holding a badge round these part. I don't know what I'd want to do if it was one of the other students who'd been hurt, and then said "no police". I don't know if I'd just ignore them, and do what I think I should anyway, or if I'd just repsect their wishes because I'd be able to be calmer about this.

But it wasn't, and I'm not even a little bit calm, and I'd like to do what I can to make sure the wee bastards get what should be coming to them. I don't know if it'll do any good, but I'd like to try, but if you really don't want the police involved then I won't do anything. So: would you please allow me, and a couple of other members of staff to try and get the friends we have in other places to try and do something about the attitude of the local PD?

And, I suppose what I'd like to know as well, is why you'd rather not have the police involved. I'm proud of you for saying "no revenge", but I don't understand why you wouldn't go to the police with this...

They didn't do anything about CoffeeQuake. Tommy told me why not. The police don't care when things happen to mutants or mutant sympathizers.

Aye, that's what we'd like to start taking steps to change, and to do that, we need to start getting a backlog of cases where they're obviously discriminating. I don't think we'll change them overnight, more's the pity, but if we don't put the case in front of them, then they won't have to even try to excuse ignoring it.

Besides, there've got to be a couple of decent lads on the force around here somewhere. We might get lucky, and find one of them...

And, sure I'll stop by, but Moira and Ms. Blaire will string me up if I wind you up when you're supposed to be recovering...

And how will you protect Bobby from being thrown in jail for saving me? They're charge him with assault and let Josh go free and you know it. You can sacrifice me if you must but you can't let them take Bobby or Nathan when they were just protecting me.

Maybe just for a little bit then? I'm not that hurt.

There's got to be a way to make they don't get away with this, or do it to anyone else without "sacrificing" anyone. Would you be willing to talk to Bobby and Mr Dayspring about it, at least, see what they think?
