As per the discussion you, Moira and I had the other day concerning your test results, we're looking at starting you on some of the milder type epilepsy medications to see if that doesn't help with the blank patches. I've got the first course down here - Moira's caught up with the next stage of Haroun's treatment, so can you come down and collect them?

So, during my morning check up of Tommy, I couldn't help but notice the rather colourful addition to his foot. And given out of the roster of helpers you two are the most likely suspects, I'm asking you to come down with a bottle of nail polish remover and clean this up.

And before you start calling me a hard-assed bitch with no sense of humour, let me remind you of a few things. Tommy is our patient. He's completely dependant on us for every aspect of his physical needs, and as such he's incredibly vulnerable. Yes, I know he's FOH and I know there are rumours (since no-one's actually come out and told any of the staff) of the things he has done, but he is still a human being, and deserves at least a little dignity. Especially in the face of the incredibly undignified position he is in - unconscious, bandaged up, requiring a catheter and continence pads, being fed through a tube and needing to be turned regularly to avoid bedsores. You two know all this, you've been helping do it. When he does wake up, he's going to still be relying on us until he's capable of walking. Given the circumstances surrounding his arrival here, I'm thinking that's going to be difficult enough, without waking up to find he's been used as an art easal by two bored teenage girls in a position of responsibility.

So, while I appreciate the thought, and your actual talent with nailpolish, I want it gone. Before my next morning check up. Also, Charles will be expecting the pair of you in his office first thing tomorrow morning, before class, for a discussion on ethics and responsibility and what's expected of the kids who help out in medlab.

Madelyn.

PS: Whoever owns the red... where did you get it from? It matches a lipstick of mine and I've been looking for that for ages.
