Okay, been talking with Dr Hawksmoor a lot this evening with Hank, going over what's required for the surgery day after tomorrow, and we've got a plan of attack. Every single component of the old 'ware is going to have to be removed before we can proceed with the next step of this cure, being the radiation, which means some pretty intensive surgical intervention. Now, ordinarily Hank and Jean would be the team of choice for this, but Haroun's still carrying the spore and we can't risk Hank going in, especially with the chance of a needle-stick injury.
Yes, hon, I've heard all your arguments, but you're not going in there. We'll need you for the next stage.
So, I'll be assisting Jean. We all know my surgical experience isn't anywhere close to what we'll need for this, and the cybernetic data beyond both of us, so this is where the fun with mutant powers comes in. Jean, think you're up for a telepathic link between you, me, Hank and Dr Hawksmoor? It'll be faster and more efficient than using the communicators, and we'll need to be able to respond instantly if anything goes wrong, especially since we'll be having to separate the 'ware from Haroun's central nervous system. Hawksmoor is willing to do whatever it takes to help Haroun, given this system was never meant to be tested on a human being, let alone a trauma victim.
All the files are on the database. Jean, let us know if this is an option or not? We could ask Charles to get involved otherwise, but he'll also be monitoring Haroun's mental state throughout, so it could get messy.
