Why on earth...? Angie, I'm glad you noticed what a great guy he is and I'm glad he's got the good sense not to keep hiding in a hole. It's a good thing, I'm sure.
I don't really have any right to have any say about anything Doug does, I don't think. I wish I could be a better friend to him but there's at least one obstacle in the way of that, to say the least. I just want him to be happy now. I'm glad he's got someone who cares about him as much as you seem to who's also interested in him that way. (You know, Jamie being taken and all. ;) )

I do not want anyone to think I would ever hurt him, espically not you. He cares about you a lot.
