Subject: trust to Jean...
To be my back-up brain when mine's preoccupied, even when she's dead-tired still. I was telling her that you were considering a business course and she reminded me of something I really should have asked you. I'd still like to see what you come up with in terms of a business class for next term, of course, but how about some supply-teaching this term? Haroun's obviously not in the condition to be teaching anything, let alone his Flight class; Sam's been covering it for him, but the two of you could take it on in a joint fashion if you were interested. It might work out rather well, actually. There are a number of non-powered fliers in that class, and they would benefit from a teacher who's more at home with their type of flying.
Let me know,
Scott

I think that teaching Flight class would be a good place for me to fit for the time being. It would truly stink to have any of these kids go out into the field only to discover they've got absolutely no finesse in flight. As I'm sure you can recall, I had some close calls back when I was active on the team and it was only through pure dumb luck (and the rest of the team, I guess) that I'm still here. I would love to teach them.

I'll have to tell Jean she was right, and I was a doofus for not asking right off the bat. (That was the word she used. Doofus. She's so careful of my dignity, I tell you.)
Sam's got the syllabus - I know he's been following Haroun's plan for the course thus far, but given that you do an entirely different kind of flying, if you see places where you want changes or additions, go to town. You've got carte blanche, so long as you and Sam are in agreement.
