Now. Second. What kind of Christmas gift are we talking about here? You might find this difficult to believe, but Jay and I don't sit around and squee about... this sort of thing, so I'm not entirely sure what's up with the two of you other than you're ridiculously adorable.

Are we thinking giant gift of (manly) love? Or hi, we're boys, and even if we're cute we're still boys and don't do the schmoop thing, have some beer manly things? Gimme some hints here, hon.

Um. Manly! Yes. Manly gifts! Not beer though... but yeah, like, totally nothing like cutesey or anything. I don't do cute stuff and I'd feel like a total dork getting cute stuff and I have NO IDEA what I'm doing!

Okay, manly, and not cutesy. So, no picnics at night with star watching and smuggled champagne, huh?

Well, attractive clothes are always a plus; it's hard for Jay to get shirts with the wings. A sweater with snaps or something at the shoulder seams and slits in the back, so it's three pieces instead of one. I'm not a clothing designer, but I could make you a quick sketch.

Or maybe a new strap for his guitar? Or! In the city you can get these beautiful sterling silver guitar picks and get his initials engraved on it. Butuh, since you're housebound for a bit, if you were really sweet, between Forge and I, we might be able to whip something up. Some places deliver.

Really, I don't know that I could give any sort of specific advice, but the best advice I ever got about Christmas gifts is: give something that shows you thought about the other person. Something you know they like, or something that reminded you of them.

Hope that helps at least a bit.
