Lorna,
Twenty-two, twenty-three in November, right? That means by regular math, you'd have been conceived sometime in January-March of 1983?
I have it on authority from Professor Xavier that Erik Lensherr, who you're convinced is your father, was working with him at the school at that time. My time talking with Lensherr corroborates this story - from Christmas 1982 through July 1983 they both were working on a project to protect uncontrolled psis from interference. I know how long it took them, because I helped Dr. McCoy and the Professor REbuild it last year. I had access to the original blueprints and designs for The Box, Lorna. Erik Lensherr's designs, with meticulously well-documented dates and notes from both he and Professor Xavier.
If Magneto had been out getting his bone on during that time, there's no way the Professor wouldn't have known.
I know you said he showed you the results of a DNA test. Lorna, he showed you a piece of paper. You have similar powers. So what? The new counselor here's apparently a telepath and a telekinetic. Does that mean he's Dr. Grey's son? Or Mr. Dayspring's?
Hold on, let me wash out my brain at THAT mental image. Brrr.
Let me throw some genetics out there. Recessive traits need to be present in both parents to be present in the child, yeah? Look at your chin, then look at a picture of Lensherr's. You have a cleft chin. He doesn't. That means that mathematically, there's less than a 2% chance he could be your father. Throw in all the other contraindicating evidence, and the fact that, oh, he HAD YOU MIND-CONTROLLED FOR TWO MONTHS -- the son of a bitch LIED to you, Lorna.
He's brilliant. He's powerful. He's insane. But he is NOT your father.
And when they DO catch him, because they will, there'll be the proof for sure, if you need it.
You're nothing like him.

You couldn't have mentioned this before! Christ, everyone knows everything about me before I do.
You can calm down, Forge. I wasn't terribly concerned over it anyway. I don't believe in evil genes and I know who my parents are no matter who my biological parents are. It was a poor hook for him to try to use and not one that meant a damn except that my brain wasn't exactly my own to command at the time.
Thanks for being all detect-y about it anyway.
Lorna.
