I didn't hide it. The COs know, Charles knows, the medstaff knows... I see your point but now, all we need is for one more of us to get mindcontrolled or interrogated by an expert and anyone can know that it takes the equivalent of a specially designed TV remote control to make me fall over twitching at best and leave a sizeable crater at worse.

That's how Pete took me down back in September, by the way.

We have far more to worry about than a few craters or fixed-carbon-to-crystalline-carbon transformations.

Do I need to convince your darling bride that it's time to go about safe, sane, and non-destructive testing on you to find _why_ that weakness exists and how we can null it / defuse it / dampen it?

I know Mistra took repeated pokes at you for it. I don't think much of Mistra, and everyone's pretty agreed that their shit was crude and brutal.

Let's do it safe and sane, and _solve the problem_.

I don't think she'd take much convincing. Jean's taken a crack at it and thinks she's come up with something, and I doubt that the two of them aren't going to put their heads together on it.

I guess at this point I have to, don't I? I just hope it's not as quite as bad. The tests, or whatever.
