Subject: Charities
So Remy, whatever happened to that money from Vegas? Not ratting you out, just...wondering if they'd like some more. Totally hypothetically.
For that matter, anyone knowing of some worthy, mutant-friendly charities that could use an amount of money with several zeros after it, let me know.
But totally hypothetically, of course.

Now, I'm off to commit break and enter, possibly assault causing bodily harm, and grand theft incriminating evidence. Wish me luck!
Kisses!
Dom
Re: Reply
Date: 2006-03-15 01:34 am (UTC)That reminds me. Eris ought to make some nice contributions to worthy causes too.
Dammit, Dom, you get all the fun, and I get "you are not Robin Hood" lectures from Fearless Leader. How is that fair, I ask you?
Love,

Re: Subject: NO!
Date: 2006-03-15 03:47 am (UTC)Fine. We'll do it the legal governmental way.
I reserve the right to be cranky, though.

Subject: fun?
Date: 2006-03-15 04:12 am (UTC)If you're going to be cranky, be cranky at the fact that he'll probably never be held to account for murdering GW or Nathan's first wife and son, or setting up a dozen African versions of Mistra, or leaving Nathan with holes and nightmares where the memory of the first twelve years of his life ought to be. Don't pout that I told you not to have a little fun diverting whatever funds he doesn't have buried too deeply for even you to find.
I don't mean to snap, but I have been on the go since January helping dig up evidence that'll put Gideon's head in the noose. I don't even know what time zone I'm in at the moment. Just... do NOT get in the middle of this on a lark, Doug. If for no other reason than the fact that Nathan will hunt you down in the halls and do terrible things if something you do has unintended consequences.

Date: 2006-03-15 04:46 am (UTC)And hey, if Nate's seeing things about how this all ends, ask your girlfriend. Maybe she is too.

Date: 2006-03-14 05:33 pm (UTC)Good work. Of course, if you really want to get their goat, it'd make more logical sense to give the money to something that helps *everyone*, rather than a mutant focused charity. One's reinforcing their little worldview of mutants vs humans, and the other is the high road.
If you ever tell anyone I suggested taking the high road, I will, of course, deny it.

Date: 2006-03-15 01:35 am (UTC)Okay, yeah. And your point is well taken. Of course, it's hard to be on the high road when you're committing the digital equivalent of B&E, but hey. I'm always up for a challenge.
What, only denial? No violent bastardry?

Date: 2006-03-15 04:37 pm (UTC)And, no the violent bastardy will only come if I find out you've been anywhere near Gideon Faraday's systems. I hear all, Mr Ramsey, and I'm sure it's been explained to you why that's not on.
If you are really bored, though, then I'm sure I can think of things for you to do. I've got a mountain of signal intercepts to go through right here...
