I haven't checked in with you today on a couple of things.
When you get a chance - as in, after you're not as busy with our guests, I'd like your take on how your field experience went, in all of this. Self-assessment's critical, although if I can get Nathan to sit still for twenty minutes and stop talking about aardvarks I'll get his thoughts, too. It's just that what you want to do is somewhat new, for us, and i always worry about defining things on the fly.
Secondly, did Dani respond at all? I feel badly, dropping that in your lap when you have so much else on your mind this week, but it's not as if I've got a particularly applicable power myself, so I didn't really know what to say to her.

I know they've been putting some additional stress on the kitchen, between feeding them while they're here, and bringing food down to the tunnels. Are you sufficiently supplied with helpers? If not I can round up some of the other kids.

Look, there's nothing chore-wise, outside, that you could use some helpers for, is there? Some of the kids will not stop sneaking down to the infirmary, no matter how Amelia growls at them. I'd prefer to have them distracted rather than have to ground them, and detention isn't as productive as helping you with some actual work.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. We're fine on kitchen staff for the moment. If necessary, Jamie is pretty good about lending another hand or six. If you have students who need occupying, then I'll take them but we don't need draftees.
My mission report is in your box.
