Got the message you left at reception yesterday re dinner. Some other time, maybe? Hope whatever it was that came up sorted itself without too much trouble.
Sorry for the last minute cancel. X-man mission. I'll probably be home by the end of the week, I'll grab you for a raincheck then and tell you all about it. Dude, such a weird week.
Subject: The made me a full fledge X-man, like wow.
Yeah, I've been trying to keep up with training whenever I was back at the mansion. Mostly been on hiatus unless they needed me. This week, they needed me. And it would seem I'm finally graduating from trainee status to full team.
I need to e-mail Scott in a second and ask him if he's lost his marbles completely. After that, then I might accept that this is real.
Now, onto job interviews. I suppose it'd depend on what kind of interview it is. How much time have you got? Maybe we can kidnap M-A to New York and she can go shopping with us. She's got a better eye then I do for the 'elegant business' look.
Interview's for an office-type thing thing and shopping's definitely on. Angie's coming along and we're going out Thursday evening - meet us 'round six at my hotel if you're not doing cop-school?

X-Men stuff, huh? I didn't realise you were still with that whole thing. Um, yay?
Tell me about weird weeks. You wouldn't believe what Pete just sprang on me.
So, what exactly do you wear to a job interview?

Okay, I would if it were an important class but I think one day won't kill me if I take a break. I'll meet you guys at six.
You may have to drag me out of shoe stores though. I've been looking for a new pair of boots.
