I didn't exactly get a chance to tell you I was going, but yeah, back from Nepal and Fun With Cultists. Job thing. Oh, right, forgot to mention that too - I got the job. I know mutant research doesn't normally include jaunts to Nepal to deal with cults, but when your ex-tutor gets himself in a pickle, well, you do what you need to do.
Anyway, back and I have presents. Something for the new office, even - yeah, Angelo's been keeping me up to speed with the gossip. I'm going to try and get him to drop by sometime this week so I can pass stuff along through him. I'd do it myself, only I'm sort of busy with the renovations and learning the ropes of this whole thing.
Oh, Moira, more on the powers front. Yes to Kathmandu, no to the cult and a maybe on this really, really really old monestary we went to - I felt something, but couldn't really latch on. Kathmandu definitely, tho'.
Back to work for me. Hope everyone's well.
Amanda.

Bet you didn't even notice me gone, huh? *grins*
Any way, back from a few days' jaunt in Nepal - work thing. Yes, I got the job. Sorry about not mentioning it earlier, I'm a pillock. But I've got a few bits and pieces for people, and I could do with talking to someone our side of twenty, if you know what I mean, so any chance of a get together? I think I can escape renovating for a while sometime this week.

Date: 2006-05-22 08:40 pm (UTC)Well, if you can spare Angelo for a couple of hours tomorrow afternoon I can give it to him to take back. And there's something for the munchkin too. If you're all too busy, that's fine - I've got plenty of paint to scrape off and keep myself busy.
Ah. Yeah, turned out Strange needed the help more than Wanda, but we did okay. And I kept myself out of trouble, since that seems to be what everyone wants to know. ;)

You mean Remy has not locked you into the building until you strip away all of the methuselah-like wallpaper?
Where would you like to go?

I managed to make my teabags last for longer then three days. It was surprising, I'll tell you.
And I'm up for whatever you might choose to do, just let me know when and where and whether I should be wearing the leather skirt I brought last week.
