Tomorrow my publisher's arranged for me to do a book signing at the Waldenbooks in Manhattan, I've got the address - it's one of the smaller ones, but he says there'll be a good turnout for the first day it goes on the shelves.
I know you both expressed interest in being there, since you were both so integral in helping me complete it - but the PR agent tells me that apparently a local chapter of the Friends of Humanity has already filed a permit to demonstrate outside the store. They shouldn't have a lot of people, and I did some research, this isn't one of the violent groups. But I'd feel a lot more comfortable knowing you guys were there. I know you'd planned on it, but if this changes things, let me know?

Hey, you two still want to go to the book signing thing my publisher's set up for tomorrow in Manhattan? I know with Marius due out of the infirmary you guys might want to stay and make sure he's all right and stuff. And there's going to be a small protest outside, the PR folks say, although it's so not likely to cause problems.
So if you guys still want to be there, we'll be leaving tomorrow morning around 7:30 to set up. If not, I'll understand.

Uh, yeah, don't even have to ask. Marius and I have plans for later, but I want to make sure he's walking without blowing up first. Plus he's starting to get a complex with me around all the time.
