Subject: I'm back at the mansion for a few hours...
Checking on the injured, dropping off more, and resupplying the Blackbird. I figured I'd take the time to do at least a basic mission report, partially so that I could send it along to you. It's attached.
The situation here's better than it has any right to be. All three of our psis are down and we've got some assorted other injuries and powers-strains, but nothing serious. The house is all but empty. Most of the kids are with RedX in San Diego, and the ambulatory members of the team are still there. I'm heading out to rejoin them.
Last we saw Magneto, like the report says, he was in a metal bubble heading away from the sinking oil platform. I could say I wish I'd sent someone after him, but the only man likely to catch him would have been the one who flies around in the big flaming bird, and if we hadn't had all three telekinetics on the beach at the right moment, I don't want to think about what the death toll would have looked like.
Anyway. We're using the 'Bird as a base of operations in San Diego. If you need to get in touch for whatever reason, someone'll be manning the coms here and can relay you through.
