Hey there,
Watching Remy bouncing around the place like his impossibly-graceful old self, besides being really hard to get used to, is giving me a minor wiggins. Mainly because, yeah, I Healed him, apparently, but I don't know how I did it or, more important, what I used as a power source. Since I still don't have a clue what it is my mutant power's latching onto.
Random Healings are a pretty good sign I need to figure this out, soon as. 'Cause if I am using some kind of living power source (and hey, watch me neatly avoid using the word 'people'), I need to know what it is before I start working on the magic at any level. After Selene, it doesn't matter what Tante says about it killing me, if I'm using people I'm not doing another spell, ever. Just... no.
I've talked to Moira and she's agreed it might be worth a shot, so I've attached what we have, including a list of places I seem to get a charge from. There doesn't seem to be a pattern - I've checked out ley lines and mystic site correlations, and nothing matches. Doug, you're good at working out patterns from data. Angie, you're good at making connections no-one else sees. I know you're still a bit tense with each other, but can you help me out here? Like I said, it's kind of important I nail this down, especially now the magic's back.

Tension or not, I am always willing to help you. Perhaps.. we should get out my big easel and a pad of paper and go at it like that show with the cranky doctor? Only, with more calling in for take-out food and less yelling about obscure disgusting medical conditions?

Well, the first thing that pops out to me is that you say you're getting a charge from -places-. Is it just places, or other stuff too?

*blinks* Well, Moira and I did the whole testing thing back when I first manifested, since that's what I really did. Nothing from the old sources, like mystic objects. Nothing specifically from people - didn't get anything from Strange when I saw him last and I would have thought I would. Just places. But not mystic sites, which is what's confusing me. Moira said something about Askani resetting my mutant power back to what it should have been before Rack got hold of me.
