I ran into him on me way down to see Sarah and we talked some. It didn't go too well. I'm all right, but I'm more worried about Angelo - Empath ain't right pleased with him. I'm gunna talk to Miz Frost 'bout what I know, and the link and all, but in the meantime, can you make sure he don't do anything stupid? To himself or Ange?

And now I'm going to go work me way through me duty free fags until I feel better, or I'm sick.

Making sure people don't do anything stupid, in this house, is kind of a Herculean task.. but I'll do my best. Best course of action, for now, is probably suggesting to Ange he steer clear - wanna let him know the score? I'm too exhausted to really think straight, at the moment. Let me know what Emma says, if she's got any advice about it? Thank you, incidentally, for not needing to be told to take this to her. I've felt like a broken record, the last few weeks.

On a mostly unrelated note, a little birdy (okay, a friend in the city) tells me she's giving Angelo and Paige a nickle-tour of the city, probably this coming weekend, or the next - you'd probably really like her. You should ask if you can tag along.

Shit, sorry, should have realised you'd be buggered after the last couple of weeks. I was a bit rattled and went to the first person (after Pete, since he ain't here) I could think of.

I'll warn Ange to steer clear as best I can - I don't want to put the wind up him and make him think he's about to get jumped next time he lets his guard down, and he's likely to get all protective and Ange-like if he knows I've had it out with Manuel. Not that he needs to; Manuel tried his best to be a shit, but he's not a patch on Rack without his powers.

I'll let you know what comes of talking to Miz Frost. I figured she was the best one to talk to about the link and stuff, and she does for Manny what Pete does for me. I would have talked to her a lot earlier only me diary was fully booked going bonkers. *grins*

I'll be keeping clear of him for a day or two, least 'til I don't want to smack him any more. Knowing where he's coming from don't make dealing with him any easier. And I doubt he really wants to talk to me for a while, if ever.

Re your little birdy - fun? Is that allowed? *grins* Think I'll bring it up when I talk to Ange - I could do with meeting someone who ain't overdoing their angst quota. Just have to check with Captain Tightpants (that would be Mr Summers, by the way) and make sure I won't get jump by the local college blokes if I go into town - seems I pissed them off a bit not long before I left. Small matter of defending meself against a couple of pricks who decided to have some sport with the junkie whilst she was off her face.

Nothing to apologize for, babe, I promise. I just need to teach myself not to check my mail immediately before bed, so my sleepiness doesn't show.

Regarding Ange and Manny, I think you're on the right tack, there. Manuel touched upon a few of Angelo's fresher wounds during their sort-of-fight the other day, and vice versa, so unless there's fisticuffs involved, I don't think either wants to see the other. Which means class is going to be fun. I have Speech with them.

My little birdy (let's call her Beth, on account of that's her name) has always seemed refreshingly angst-free, when we've spoken. She's got her shit, I'm sure, but she just doesn't dwell on it. I wouldn't worry too much about those blokes from town - even if someone did try to start something, you'd be in a group of a half-dozen people, all of whom know how to kick a little ass. You'd be fine.

Want her e-mail address, while I'm thinking of it? I'm told of a mystical occurance where no man can tread called a "girl's night out", and she's probably the sort to take you to sneak into all manner of movies you legally shouldn't be able to watch. Sweet girl like that.

Ange seems happy to avoid Manny for the time being - I'll keep an eye out, but I doubt he'll be able to find anyone wanting to help him in his vendetta. Just what the fuck happened between those two any way? Ange told me he'd asked some questions about something Manny had done to a friend, but it looks like it was more than that, to stir up the particular shite he's done. Seems like he's managed to jump up and down on the biggest button Manny's got, and if it were anyone else but Ange, I'd be mightily pissed off, now I've had a chance to think things through. But he wouldn't push that point on purpose, if he had any idea of what was done to Manny in that place, so I can only assume it was really bad luck.

The only reason I mentioned the thing in town was Captain Tightpants asked me to tell him if I was planning to go into town. I think he meant more on me own, but I'm all about the telling people stuff now. Turned over a new leaf, ain't I? *grins*

I'd like this Beth's email adderss. She sounds like a lark, and as much as I like some of the people here, most of them tend to look at me funny when I talk about Certain Things.

What happened between them was, basically, a lot of accidental stomping on their respective Big Red Buttons. I'm pretty sure it'll work out, at least on Ange's end.. I haven't really spoken to Manny about it in detail, yet. I probably should.

Scott's not so bad. Not when one catches him on a good day, when he's let his guard down. He's actually a pretty fun guy, if you can convince him to stop being Captain Tightpants for five minutes. I'll prove it to you, eventaully. My own little mission. Mwah.

Certain Things, huh? Bethany's not the sort to look at anybody funny, really. Very open-minded girl. Last e-mail address of hers I got was.. let's see.. mooreforme@bellsouth.net. Just tell her I'm throwing more of my friends at her, and she'll be all yours.

Probably a good idea to talk to Manuel. He thinks Ange did it on purpose to hurt him, and he's pretty ticked off. And you know what he's like with that whole de la Rocha sense of pride and all. *rolls eyes*

Ange thinks Manuel did it on purpose to hurt him. Oy. This actually reminds me, though.. how's Paige? I don't see her very often, but I think Ange could use her company. (God, when did I start getting so damned nosey?)

Paige is.. hard to say, really, since she's been out a lot since I got back, but if it helps, her aura's looking less confused. New trick Rom taught me, that. *grins* I ain't that good at it yet, but I'm practicing. Any way, she seems better than she was - I'll push her in Ange's direction. Or Jono's. Would it be bad of me to lock the three of them in a room til they sort themselves out? Rom had a talk with her, but I ain't sure how well it took. I'll try and talk to her meself, when we're both in the same room five minutes. ;)

No deadlines, but I think seeing if you can do what you reckon would be worth something... I'd say if I win I don't get geography from you for a day, but that wouldn't be fair, would it? And there's the usual currency involving that nasty habit we both have.

Trying to write that email now. Fuck, this is hard, doing this over email. Usually I just go up and start talking.

Hm. You know what? Tomorrow, we'll do your studying for history and geography in here. Marie and I are beginning to formulate plans on whacking Ange, Jono and Paige across the head with a clue-by-four. They need an intervention, so they're getting one. You can help. Knowing them, we'll need all the help we can get.
