I haven't heard anything. I let Ms. Munroe know, and she said she'd check with Jennie's father. I'm sure that everything's probably all right since we haven't seen anyone running around in a panic. But I have another approach I'm taking to see if I can find anything out, and I'll let you know whether or not it pans out.
I'm a bit worried, too.

Date: 2006-08-28 07:00 pm (UTC)I am not so sure that the absence of panic necessarily means that everything is all right. What is this other approach that you are taking? Do you know someone whose power it is to find others, or are you building a machine that can find her? Please keep me informed from now on. I thought we had agreed to tell each other any information we found out about Jennie. I suppose I should have been more specific.

Date: 2006-08-28 07:14 pm (UTC)More the latter than the former. All I was able to find out is that she's still in Europe in a big city. There's only about a hundred places in Europe that could be, and with each one having an average of about a million or so people, I can't exactly go to the Professor and say "Hey, can you go use your super mutant brain machine to check up on a tardy student?"
I'll check in with Ms. Munroe to confirm things, but it looks like the most likely situation is that she's spending some extra time with her family and just neglected to call. She's occasionally a bit flighty, but given her recent developments in her family situation (her mother passed away a few months ago, and she only recently located her father), she's probably had a lot on her mind.
If I find out more, I will let you know.
