I'm sorry. I'll come help. I was very quietly freaking out for a while, but when I think about it I guess it's a good thing. Davey hasn't come out around anyone over the age of 10 for a long time, so that means that we're in a place where I feel comfortable again. Which means I'm making progress. Which is good. I should tell Charles, because it's good. And the freaking out can stop at any time now.

He didn't bother you too much, did he? Aside from eating all your food and not cleaning up after himself. I'm sorry. He does that.

There's still only the one piece missing? After ten years I'm surprised there aren't more.

He was very well-behaved and cute. Pushy and I'm pretty sure that he was cheating outrageously but he's welcome back anytime. Next time I'll make sure that he cleans up after himself first though.

Okay. I'm glad he was well-behaved. Moira and Charles worked a long time on that. He used to be a brat. Broke things, kicked people, screamed . . . okay, maybe I have made more progress than I thought.

Uh, and he is kind of manipulative. And when I say "kind of" I mean "outrageously, without any form of shame whatsoever." Definitely make him clean up after himself.

And yeah. It's . . . weird. One of my doctors made a videotape once. It's really . . . weird. Yeah.

Thank you. Now that he's seen you he'll probably come over whenever he wants, but thank you for the invitation. It means a lot.

I've sat for bratty kids before. I'm pretty sure I can handle him. Actually, it's funny and I don't think I've told you this but the kid who lived next door that I sat for in high school was named Davey. It's weird to think that he's about to graduate high school himself. He liked to throw his cats in the pool. That got old really fast.
