Subject: a little help?

You and the others over at Snow Valley have some avenues for looking for lost people that we don't, and at this point I'm thinking we need to cover all the bases.

Jennie is... nowhere that we can find her, and even Charles can't scan all of Europe in anything approaching a timely fashion. We're not sure what happened. She lied to both her father and us as to where she'd be (he was under the impression she was back here, and vice versa). I know she's had a really hard year and this might just be acting out, or an attempt to get away for some alone time, but her absence is getting a little protracted for that. I'm starting to get seriously worried. We know she boarded a flight for Paris, but there's been no sign of her since. No use of her credit cards or cellphone.

We're going to keep looking, obviously, but anything you might be able to do would be appreciated. And I'm coming to you mostly because I know how close you and she are, and I thought you'd want to know what's up, even if it turns out to be nothing.

I'm fine, honestly. I'd heard that she was staying longer with her father and didn't come over to check because apparently I am an idiot. This just...doesn't seem right, Scott. Jennie normally acts out by going out to clubs.

But it really has been a very hard year for her so I'm not sure...

I'll drop everyone a line here. I have a few contacts that I'll get in touch with, maybe tonight, actually.

I do think this is going beyond what might be expected of a teenager having the opportunity to blow off some steam in Europe over the summer... I don't want to start entertaining worse-case scenarios, but sitting back and wishing for the best isn't a viable strategy either.

Anything you can do, like I said. I just want to see her found.

It's hard...she was the only one I actually taught while at Xavier's. I forged a lot of relationships and friendships, helped a lot of people out with college stuff but this was slightly different.

We'll find her.
