I know Wanda's been concentrating on finding Jennie Stavros, and that this is not the Snow Valley Center for Missing Children, but I was wondering if you might be able to look into one more case. A former student, Marius Laverne, has basically dropped off the map. Charles has done some prelimary investigation, and from what I've heard Marius' parents have hired some people as well, but there's nothing solid yet. And I heard you're a good man at finding people.
Because of the nature of his mutation Moira had a lot of contact with Marius. She got sort of attached. If there's anything you could do, it would be appreciated.

Date: 2006-09-11 07:11 am (UTC)I swear that school is built on the fucking Bermuda Triangle and no one bothered to tell us. Where was the last place you have Marius definitely at? And send over his file. I'll need his personal information.

Date: 2006-09-11 07:25 am (UTC)Xavier's is . . . interesting. Given some of the alternatives, I almost hope they've just run away.
According to his parents, Marius (or at least his credit cards) were last heard from in Paris around September 2nd. I don't have the hotel name, but I can get it.
The file is attached. Marius' mutation resulted in some unusual medical complications, so it's heavy reading.
Thank you.

Date: 2006-09-11 07:32 am (UTC)I'll have plenty of time to read on the plane. Tell Xavier that whatever we find, Wanda or anyone else at the Center can keep him updated. If anything else develops, no matter how small or seemingly inconsequential, pass along immediately. Little pieces are often the key to this.
Oh, and one other thing. What are the chances that either of these two have gone criminally rogue or might have joined the Buckethead brigade and not mentioned it to you?

Both Marius and Jennie are good students. They've had a few incidents with authority in the past -- often with each other, actually -- but nothing criminal. Staying out past curfew. Painting a coma patient's nails. Not really Brotherhood material. Jennie's mother died a few months ago, which was hard on her, but she's since gotten in touch with her father. Aristotle Niarchos. He seems like a decent guy. He was the one who confirmed something was wrong.
Charles and Leonard did have some concerns about Marius, but it was mostly in how he was dealing with a maladaptive mutation. I suppose he did as well as anyone could under those circumstances. It's hard to tell; he was extremely resistant to therapy. Apparently his parents were trying to give him space after he left Xavier's in order to respect all he'd been through in the last few months. It looks like it was too much.
