Sooraya,
You saw some interesting things in what the other students showed you on Friday night. And even if you were confused by it, you explained what you were thinking so clearly to the others - as your English teacher I'm very proud of you.
For some reason it made me think of a poem, or rather part of a poem. One by the same man from your country I told you about before. This is how it starts:
I died from a mineral and plant became
Died from the plant, took a sentient frame;
Died from the beast, donned a human dress--
When by my dying did I ever grow less?
As that strange English phrase I was trying to explain to you the other day goes - 'food for thought'.
