I noticed Amanda's post.

I'd say it's a toss-up, whether Langstrom bought our little piece of improv last night. We're lucky Saidullayev and some of his people got away - enough of them did that the ones who were taken into custody can't say absolutely that you weren't involved. I'm not sure whether Langstrom was more pissed off that we didn't mention you as soon as you "appeared" or that I gave details of the bomb on an open channel.

Thanks, in case I didn't tell you that properly last night. Complications aside, it was a good night, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Bleeding has stopped, so I guess dat means I'm not about to kick off anytime soon.

As for Langstrom, all that we bought was some distance. He'll keep digging, especially since all it would take is an internet dump to bring the CIA under so much scrutiny that they'd be looking at the same fate as the old KGB. At least it will make it difficult to believe that I'm still doing jobs with the X-Men.

Don't think I haven't already fully appreciated the irony of me coming back from a mission without a scratch and nearly everyone else damaged in one way or another. I think the universe is having a joke at my expense.

If you should happen to turn up any more information about Saidullayev, down the line... let me know? He's very strong, Remy. Langstrom's estimate was low.

Doesn't surprise me. The Agency has all the same problems that we do in generating intel. Those estimates are based on the field ops they've personally looked at afterward. Guess that he never had a reason to let it all hang out before now.

As for Saidullayev, I'll keep an ear to the ground, but unless you and the mansion want to kick in some serious resources, he's gone. He's got fifteen years of field experience against the damn SVR and FSB. There's no better training ground then that. I doubt he'll make mistakes.
