. . . But I'm going to Kosovo with Yvette Saturday to help her get back in touch with her mother, and I was wondering if you could come with us. I don't have anywhere near the fine control with my TK to do gentle manipulation or swing anything that tight a personal forcefield, and in spite of the stuff Forge was able to put together if we run into a situation where physical contact is called for there's a limit to what I can do. Also, even if Yvette herself were completely all right with the prospect of traveling alone with a strange man, which I'm not altogether sure she is, I think her mother would be a little more at ease if there was a woman chaperoning.
I've already asked the professer -- he says that arrangement would be fine. Kind of suggested it, actually. It would only be for a few days until we make sure there are no problems and she's settled in, so you wouldn't be missing much in the way of class. And Yvette said she'd appreciate the extra company.
I don't know if you speak Albanian (I sure can't), but if you're all right with telepathy the language barrier won't be a huge issue.
