Pietro,

I know that Terry did not really believe that Medusa was on her death bed. I simply did not like reading such a suggestion, even though I was aware that it was not a literal description of her illness. Rumors and coincidences aside, many people here do end up spending time in the care of the medical staff, and it is my hope that we do not end up needing to do this. Besides, given the way that the students like to carry on about demons and elder gods, and the fact that, as Terry pointed out, the mansion was the recent home of a rather horrifying virus, it is possible that someone could have taken her words seriously. What would be surprising about someone coming down with a bit of "death flu" when compared to all of that?

Terry,

Although she has not yet made a complete recovery, Medusa is now able to see visitors. If you would like to visit her, you are welcome to come by and see her today. She asked me to tell you that the two of you can look at pictures of wedding gowns if you have more to look at and are interested in doing this.

Crystal,

Thank you for letting me know. I'm glad she's feeling better! Is she as good with flowers as she is with dresses? I'm stumped on bouquets.

Maybe you could join us?

Thanks again,
Terry

You'd think that would make them less prone to hyperbole. But I can certainly understand your feelings, and I didn't mean to imply you didn't understand what Terry said.

If you don't mind my asking, why didn't you say so last night? "I was surprised to see a post" doesn't seem to convey your real feelings about it.

Hah. Yes, he does seem to have that effect, doesn't he? I was tempted to tell him that using a gratuitous insult to lead off an argument causes more problems than it solves, but I find that pot/kettle cliche exceedingly tiresome and I'm sure someone would have brought it up regardless of accuracy.

Have you eaten lunch already? I suppose you probably have; that's a drawback to waiting on my own meals until after the throng has passed. Still, you're welcome to join me if you like.

Excellent! I'll expect you . . . well, at some point. ;)
