Well, we're out fo China now, so I can tell about this, Charlie, if someone hasn't already, or you haven't spotted something change with your enormous foil hat. Given the number of your former staff and students I'm employing these days, and your connections in the American government, I thought it'd be better all round not to let you know about my little mob commiting several egregious breaches of international law until it was over, just in case we got caught by the Chinese. Best to keep the American government well clear, you know?
Anyway: Mr Forge will doubtless be pleased to know that (as is probably obvious from Doug's state on the journal system) we got Kim-Ye Xorn out of the chinese hellholle they had him locked up in. He went his own way afterward, and quite honestly, fuck knows what he'll do now, but I wasn't going to argue with a mind like that, even if he didn't deserve exactly the same options everyone else has. Totally unlike any other psionic contact I've ever experienced. (Charlie, Forge can fill you in on who this bloke is and why he's interesting, if you haven't spotted him already.)
Anyway, just letting you both know, just in case. I've no clue what Xorn might do now, and you're probably the only people with the slightest chance of keeping even slight tabs on him. If you do hear anything of him, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know - he's practically an old family friend, now...
Cheers,
Pete

Thanks for the update. I trust that this loop that we're keeping you in does not need to include Mr. Essex? I know most of what people say about him is just rumor, but having met the man, as far as I'm concerned those rumors might as well be ironclad facts. But if he comes by looking to chat, I'll make sure to give you a ring.
