I'm totally sorry about the blowup at Crystal. I know she's probably going to go and be all "They hate me why do they hate me Oh-My-God." or whatever she does.

It's just, every time she says that crap, I totally think she thinks we're all stupid and loud Americans, and it drives me batty. I am tired of her telling all my friends they're stupid and loud and annoying and wrong. We have to go out there and have a whole world tell us we're wrong. We don't need it here too.

At least, that's what I think. Dr. Samson, can I move my "How is Kyle doing with his temper and ADD" to Monday? Because I think I need to work on the temper thing again.

If you haven't already, why don't you go take some time away from the computer, Kyle? Saying things when you're upset and frustrated leads to saying hurtful things, which leads to other people getting upset and frustrated, and it's a big vicious circle.

I expect you're probably out in your tree already, though, so I'll come by and check on you at some point.

While I appreciate the thought that went into this email, I do not think you need to hit your head on anything in penitance. I know that we try to enforce a warm and welcoming environment here at the school and on the journals, but that is not to say that you are not allowed to express your feelings and opinions while you are here.

If you wish to talk about this further, I would be more than happy to meet with you. This is not a disciplinary meeting, but I would be glad to see if some further discussion might help clarify things for you, or at least give you some more to think about. I am free most of the day - just let me know if you would like to stop by.
