To: Xavier, Charles
CC: Frost, Emma
From: Colbert, Marie-Ange
Subject: I need to speak with either or both of you.
On the Wednesday before break, Manuel and I had an incident that resulted in what I am told might be an empathic link. I spoke to Mr. Dayspring, after letting my suspicions slip in a conversation with him, and he suggested -strongly- that I speak with one or both of you about this. Could you let me know when a convienent time to see you might be, please?
Thank you,
Marie-Ange

I emailed Professor Xavier and Ms. Frost about what happened between Manuel and myself.
If this is the right thing to do, why do I feel so sick over it?

Angie, just because something is the right thing to do doesn't make it any easier to do, sometimes. The important thing is that you did it. I'm really proud of you.
Love,
Doug

Proud enough to keep me company while I work on biology homework and try to brainstorm something for art class?

Because if it was what it seems to have been, Angie, you're doing a very natural thing by not wanting to talk about it. Being on the receiving end of empathy used wrongly can be very traumatic. I can tell you that from long personal experience.
But speaking to the Professor or Ms. Frost is the best possible thing you can do. Not just because they need to make sure you're not suffering from any lingering effects, but also because they're experts in this sort of thing. They can help you work through what happened on an emotional level as well. If you continue to show as much courage as you have by going to them about it, there will be a time when you can look back on what happened without feeling sick.
If you want to talk to me more about this, or anything, just ask. Once Frost or Xavier has seen you, we can try meditating together again if you like. You got results so quickly; I can't help but think that continuing with it might be good for you.

Doing the right thing often makes one feel a bit sick, luv. Or it does in my experience. Especially with Manuel.
If you need somebody to talk to first, or to come along when you see Emma or the Professor, I can be available. I'm sure Doug would be willing, too, but consider me his back-up.

I should be okay for the moment. Though, I cannot lean on Doug constantly though, and it is difficult at best to keep from commenting on Manuel's posts. More so because he refuses to talk about it to anyone.
I.. just do not even know what to say to him anymore, but I think I am not the only one who needs to talk about it. If he is so scared that he is having nightmares, I am concerned that he had lignering effects also.
