He's in pretty bad shape, Amanda. Nothing that won't heal, but it's going to take some time, even with his healing factor.

He hasn't been awake yet, so we don't know all the details of what happened. We'll be in touch - obviously, depending on what the details are, we might have to talk about the bus trips.

From what the others said, he went off to get some food on his own and ran into trouble. Looks like we'll have to bring back the buddy system - most of the kids go in groups any way, so it wasn't really an issue, but... yeah.

I hope this doesn't mean an end to the bus run. I know the kids enjoy it, and it gives them a chance to blow off steam away from the mansion. But whatever's considered safest, I'll co-operate with, you know that.

Anything I (or the co-workers) can do, let us know. I think Pete's already got people going through the files for everything on Sabretooth after the rally.

Safety first, obviously, but I'm not jumping to any conclusions until we get the full story from Kyle. I think it's safe to say that even under the best of circumstances, at that point, we still need to go back to the buddy system.

Tell Pete and Remy I may be in touch. Again, it depends on what Kyle does have to say when he's awake.

Oh, there will be the buddy system. Even if I have to break out the handcuffs (That's a joke, by the way). It might be best to cancel things next week until the whole story's out and there's been a chance to go over things with yourself, Ms. Munroe and Forge. Since there's obviously a gap in the security side of things. Tho' the only way to make them 100% safe is to lock them in their rooms and only let them have soft objects. *wry*
