Copying you all in to let you know I'm going to be out of the country for a few weeks. I'll be interning with Dr. McCoy in Edinburgh, broadening my horizons so to speak. I fly out tomorrow, and I didn't want you guys thinking I'd just run off or been shanghaied or something.

I'll have my phone with me, but I'd kind of rather be off the grid unless it's an emergency. Hence why I chose to email you all instead of making a big public post. It's not going to be a secret, but I'd rather not make it a big thing. I'll be back in a few weeks. Ange, feel free to help yourself to any leftovers in the fridge. Doug, I'll have to postpone that racquetball rematch.

I'm not gone yet. I just don't know how to explain it - I'm not good with the talking. I suppose in a way, I need to do this to know that I can do something for myself, before I go back to having other people depend on me.

I'm mostly packed, but I slept long enough this weekend that I'm not tired. Up for a drive/snack/foosball game?

Edinburgh's in Scotland, right. Not Shanghai. (That was a joke. Laugh.). When are you supposed to be back? If Docs MacTaggart or McCoy mention my name, it's the DNA test thing. Nothing you need to worry about and I'm not stalking you or anything. Just happens to be going to the same place because of the mutant DNAs.
