Cheers, poppet.
Angelo's back in our room now, as I'm sure you're aware. What I'm not sure you're aware of, though, is the fact that he's still having nightmares - I know the doctors know, and he's seeing Samson and everything, but the poor bloke's still pleading in his sleep and waking up in a cold sweat. I have no clue how to comfort him or get him through the night. It isn't exactly my line of expertise, you know, dealing with people in distress.. but I know how much you love him, and how much he loves you, so I wanted to let you know.
I'm probably going to be moving into half of Marie's suite sometime soon, both to help keep her sane and to more clearly define that "staff or student?" line people keep telling me about.. so you two'd have all the privacy in the world. Hell, if you want to come see him before I'm moved out, I'll crash in the Batcave for a few nights or something, I don't mind. I'm just worried about him, and don't know what else to do.
On a slightly more pleasant note.. I've got a present for you. I'll slip it to you at Bobby's yay-empty-medlab party.

Em,
I know Angelo's party is tonight, so what say you and I blow this popsicle stand sometime this weekend to spend obscene amounts of money on books, possibly catch a movie while we're at it? I have plans for Saturday evening, but I think all of Sunday is free and clear.. I really need to buy a bloody datebook. Ah well, I can do that while we're out. Don't let me forget, partner.
I'll see you at the party, luv. You can even help Sarah and I keep the I-don't-do-parties-much corner warm, if the mood strikes you.

Oooh. Brownies. Have I mentioned lately that my adoration for you knows no bounds, darling? Surely that's worth an extra brownie.. maybe half a brownie?
Yes. We'll go shop, and you'll feel better, because you'll have at least several hundred dollars' worth of new books and whatever else it is you want. I insist - if you see something you want, it's yours, no questions asked. Have to use this money for something, after all, and what better cause is there than gifting the people I care about?
