Garrison comandeered a horse for emergancy transportation to the fire when we hit traffic. He's a good rider. I discovered I'm not. At all. I know ice is the kryptonite of Californians, but if you can still walk I think I win by default.

Thanks for the cookies. I'm going to share off with Angel. (Mostly for the communal aspect, since I don't think there's a shortage of people willing to feed her right now.)

Actually that doesn't surprise me.

It was really really cold ice. I had to take a really HOT shower to warm back up. And then Lili ate my boot.

But then I had some barley soup and some yogurt with wheat germ; it was good.

You have met me, right? I don't like horses. I mean, I like them okay, but only over there. I can't tell what they're thinking.

I think I need a hot shower too. I don't think I've ever used some of the muscles I did today, and from the way they're feeling right now I don't think I'll ever be using them again. I think all I'm going to be able to manage tomorrow is something sedentary. I don't know. I've got some stuff in my closet that's been sitting in there for about a year I should probably throw out, or file, or whatever. It doesn't require a lot of movement so I'm thinking that's a good option.

Though I'm impressed that you're so traumatized that you're resorting to cleaning. Those must be some serious injuries.

The one Garrison "acquired" was definitely out to get me. I only clean out of desperation. Simple chores are good for clearing your head, and after the glimpse of mine leaking onto the staff journals I think right now it's better for everyone if I just put the thoughts down and backed away slowly. It's either the boxes or pick all the art off my floor. I'm going with the boxes.

Dude, I don't blame you for picking the boxes given that you don't so much have "art on the floor" as you do have a room carpeted in canvas, paint and charcoal. We can only assume there's a floor under there somewhere.
