Bloody Girl Scout cookies. I'm bouncing off the walls. Which is bad, 'cause I'm also a tad hungover from going out with Angie last night, and a tad bruised from losing my rag with Logan and showing him just how well I've been learning. At least I know when to give up - which is when someone's got you flat on your face on the floor with a claw either side of your neck. Brr.
Any way, I actually had a point of emailing, apart from trying to not throw this damn paperwork out the window in frustration. Angie and I had a bit of a session last night, just like old times. I told her about us - well, about what happened in Tel Aviv, and about taking things slow and trying to work it all out - but the interesting part is that she's still got a Thing for Doug. 'S why she and the Mountie stopped seeing each other. Only, she can't make the first move 'cause him being a wuss was part of the reason why they broke up in the first place, and he won't make a move 'cause he's convinced she's moved on. And seriously? Were we this dumb?
So, looks like it's up to us to beat some sense into someone. Can I hit Doug with with my Docs until he stops being such a nancy boy? Or do you have something better that could be a nice payback for the prom thing?
How's your day going? Have a good dinner with Nate?
Amanda.

Date: 2007-03-07 09:25 pm (UTC)Look at how long it took us, then ask me that again.
Don't have anything better right this second, but I bet I can come up with something if you give me some time. ;)
Yeah, it was good. Pad thai.

Date: 2007-03-07 09:38 pm (UTC)I need to learn this stuff, love, otherwise if the magic fails at a bad time, I'm going to be a liability to the Trenchcoats. And what we do... it's too important to give up, not when I can do as much good as I have been. So, I learn from Logan, and Remy and Pete and Wanda and even Betsy and Sofia when they can spare the time. And if you want to teach me some of your tricks and all, I'm not going to say no. The more I know, the better.
You might have a point about us there. :P Hopefully it won't take them what it took us to finally get it out in the open? Because as silver linings go, I'd much rather have gone without the cloud it got attached to, funnily enough.
Kurt's off on some Top Secret project for one of the kids, so I can't just bamf over tonight - did you want me to drive over and we can plot over dinner? There's a couple of places in Salem Centre that're all right, if you're up for it? And we'd better come up with something better than Operation: Shoe, if only because I'm thinking the Docs classify as blunt instruments, and Angie might get cranky if I leave bruises on him. ;)

Only if you've been sleeping.

Date: 2007-03-07 10:15 pm (UTC)I do appreciate the worry, though, and why you are. And any time you want to run me through my paces, I'm all yours. *grins* Might surprise you, seeing how the last time we did anything like that was self defence class in school.
I've been sleeping. At my desk even - just joking. *grins* I'm fine, really I am, just still wired from too many cookies, so the drive would actually help settle me down, especially if I have the Ramones on the sound system. I won't stay if you'd rather I didn't, but I'd like to have dinner somewhere quiet and just gossip about our friends love lives and my nutty co-workers and what trick Ray's learned this week... just little stuff, you know?
Love you.
