Given the fact that we have never met, and add in the fact that you are sharing a suite with my sister, I am going to say this as nicely as I can.
Leave Jennie alone. Now.

Date: 2007-03-12 10:07 am (UTC)I'll grant you that I may have come across a little hard. The journals are hardly the place to covey tone or emotion. It's also true that I'm not exactly the nicest person ever when I'm jetlagged and feeling crook, so maybe I wasn't as tolerant as I could have been, especially considering she's just a kid. I want to get off to a good start here again, so I'll apologise.
I hope we might end up on better terms ourselves.
Yours,
Monet St Croix

I will not lie and say that Jennie is always tactful, but mentioning the events of the past summer on a public forum went too far. I am sorry that you were not feeling well; this is not the first time since I have been here that someone who was not having a great day said unkind words to another. I would also like to point out that it is best to reserve judgment on people until actually meeting them and seeing what they are like instead of saying "she's just a kid." Jennie has been through a lot and this is a hard month for her; she does not need you to jump all over her.
I accept your apology and I also hope that we can end up on better terms.

I take it this means that Jennie was involved with whatever it was Marius was doing when he vanished? All I know about that is he dropped off the radar for a bit and Dad went spare and then dropped by to coffee with me the next time he was out here. I got a bit more of the story from Uncle Jim, who said something about Marius going evil or something. I don't remember the details.
Would you like to meet up for coffee at some point? It seems like the best option, despite the quality of coffee here. These people wouldn't know a decent latte was if it jumped off the roof waving a giant flag at them. I'd suggest drinks but America has this horrible thing about drinking ages going on. You may have noticed it?

Marius is Jennie's best friend. I am fairly certain that you would not want anyone to point out that your best friend used to be evil. He is not evil now, and that is what matters.
I understand that you were speaking about your own brother, but he does have friends here, and Marius and his friends do not need to be reminded of his so-called evil. Furthermore, if you do not know or remember all of the details, how can you say that he he was evil simply because someone else said he went "evil or something"? Unfortunately, there are too many times when people say something on a public forum that should have been said either in private or not at all.
I will join you for coffee. Yes, I am well aware of the rather silly legal drinking age here.
