I may not get over to see Betsy for a little while tonight -- the school was called in to help in a missing persons incident. We haven't had a lot of success yet. I think the only thing people have found so far is unseasonable wasps. I'm sorry if it turns out to make you and Sarah miss the dinner break.
How are you doing over there?

Actually, Betsy's back in the land of the living as of... oh, about twenty minutes ago. She's a bit out of it still and has the usual psychic hangover, but she'll be right after a bit of rest in a dark room. I'll let her know you were asking after her, if she hasn't already called you. ;)

I was sitting comms and checking the normal newsfeeds to feel useful and realized I didn't bring my cell, so thanks for the update. That's the best news I've had today. The consciousness, not the hangover. I'm glad she's doing better. Marie's still got a hangover from her, but I know Nate gave her some crash-shielding lessons and she seems to be doing pretty well helping organize the search. I think it helps to have something to get her mind off her mind. Or . . . something.
I still don't know if I'll be over tonight. Half the student body's still out looking for the missing girl, so I think I'd better stick close for a while. Even the professor's having trouble pinning anything down. The search will be called when we lose the light -- I'll give Betsy a call when we break. Maybe a couple more hours will decrease the odds I'll wake her with a ringing phone and get knifed in the head next time we meet.

Yeah, watching her do that knife thing to someone's head is kind of unnerving.
