So, what are we going to do about Illyana?

I talked to Betsy and she says that based on Vazhin's past, we can trust him. He'll get us to do some dirty work without a doubt, but he won't push a suicide mission or burn us without good reason. I can't imagine you're happy with it at all, but I don't think this will hurt us unless we give him a reason to.

That being said, what are we going to do with Illyana? I've talked to Ororo, and the school's opinion is that if she wants to stay there she can. I'm trying to convince them to at least move her to the brownstone. We've got more in the way of plausible deniability if things get bad, and can run Vazhin's game back against him if need be.

Fuck, my leg is killing me.

Well, I already offered her a job.

I'm trying to get some sort of means of her finishing high school sorted out with Xavier's.

My plan originally was to mail her back to Vazhin. You offered her a job?

I'll skip right past the obvious 'why?' and go on to 'for what?'. Granted, she's a teleporter, but I don't know of any skills other than being a pain in the ass past that. What don't I know about this girl?

She spent ten years in literal, actual hell, and lived. She's willing to do what she things it takes to do the job. Yeah, she made a really, really stupid mistake this time out. But she has no practice at this shit, and grew up in hell. I can forgive now quite knowing how the world works. Sad, sick truth: she already has the damage to do the job, and do it well. We might as well take the chance to teach her and get someone decent out if it, rather than have some other idiot get his hands on her at some point in the future and train her to be a total monster.
