Why do you hate me? For the record, I think that all of this is a terrible idea. Her. Here. Very bad idea. She is probably going to get all of us killed. At least Mark is pleasant company to have around if we are all to die. Illyana is not even personable.

The worst part is that she has what is very likely the only good way to keep them safe if those demons of her do show up.

Why does Pete hate me then?

I know that we take what we can get. I do not have to like it.

I am just stating this for the record. Please do not tell anyone else. Except Pete. I suppose he has to know. I cannot read anything in regards to Illyana's future. Not short term nor long term, neither next Tuesday nor next year. It is not altogether different from how I could not see anything for you.

Except that it is also nothing like that at all, and I could not tell you why. I could ask Tante, I suppose. Except that I do not think I want to go down there just to bother her about something like this.

I do not know why. I hate not knowing.

Unfortunately, what it comes down to is that it's an eighteen year old girl who has the powers and the background to make Magneto look like a piker one day. Maybe with us, she finds another direction. The school is obviously not the place for her. She doesn't respect them, at least not enough to listen to them when told not to do something she doesn't want to do. If she feels indebted enough to the rest of you, or at worst, scared enough of what I'd be willing to do to her, that might keep her on straight with us long enough to have a chance to grow up without getting too deep into something.

Let's be honest; everyone here has been the person that no one wants to get along with at some point, and we all had good reasons for it. She fits, she'll be useful, and she's smart enough to have the makings of a good operative. Your job is to help with that now. The fact that you can't see her future means that you going to have to deal with her like the rest of us.

Besides, if I have to deal with Sofia on a day to day basis, I've got no sympathy for your issues with Illyana.

Remy, we are turning into Lebeau and Wisdom's Home for the Unloved and Unwanted.

I do not trust her at all. I do not trust her not to teleport away when staying would keep one of us alive longer. I do not trust her to not sell one of us out for a chance to get her Limbo dimension back. It is not a matter of like or dislike. I am not comfortable around Sarah, she makes me nervous. Illyana is different. I do not trust her. For once, I cannot give you a good reason as to why. That bothers me. I hope I am wrong.

Also, what is this shit on my desk from Sofia about a team retreat?

Going to have to learn how to, or find those reasons not to quickly. We're too small to be staring at each other's back all the time waiting for someone to turn. If I can trust Sarah with my life, who actually has a strong and completely legitimate reason to want me dead, you will have to learn how to make that with Illyana.

As for a team retreat, it's not from Pete or myself. Not the slightest clue.
