I've got some stuff I need to go through with you for work and all, based on what Remy's sent me - looks like you'll be joining Wanda and me in the weird shite section. Tho' I'm not sure anything can top having your sex switched for weird.

Any way, since we need to work together and all, I figured we ought to clear the board on a couple of things. I've grown up a lot since I was at the school, and I'm not about to start up that whole "Queen of Hell" shite again. Pete's seen fit to hire you on, and you did all right in Uganda, doing what Wanda said without arguing. As for why we were there in the first place... well, I've made a couple of wrong choices in the past myself, and yours probably isn't as bad as almost selling out to a vampire witch. As long as you don't make a habit of it, it's fine by me.

Thinking back, I've realised something. I never just asked you what happened to you in Limbo. Demanded and threatened, yeah, but I never asked. Things might have been different if I had.

I won't ask about the vampire witch thing, as it sounds too much like insanity for me today. However, I promise not to accidentally sneak into Russian military archives and get arrested again. It was extremely unpleasant the first time. Also, everyone seems extremely surprised that I followed orders, but do I seem like the kind of girl who appreciates bullets coming at her? Not really, I shouldn't think.

Thank you for letting up on the queen of hell thing, as it is no longer accurate anyway.

No, you never really asked. Was this your subtle way of doing so? I suppose if we're going to be working together you might as well have the story, if that's what you want.

Yeah, the sex switch is pretty high up on the weird meter, tho' more for some than others. Jake used to switch between the two a bit, so you can get used to it, but it was still a bit of a shock to see Angelo like that. Serves me right for not checking the journals that day.

Hah. Makes sense, when you put it that way, with the bullets. Guess we'll see how things go, yeah? Tho' I'm curious who gets you for combat training now. *grins*

And yeah, I guess I am asking. If you don't mind, I'd like to hear it. Might give me a better idea of what needs doing to get you the place back.
