I'm not sure if he's going to take it any better from me than you, Moira or Charles, but I brought up the therapist thing with him last night. Sort of, anyway.

It went . . . well, Jack was Jack. Although maybe less than he was a couple months ago. And apparently he can only grab multiple targets if they come out of the barrel of a gun, which may be a problem, but we'll work on it.

Well, it is proof that he can do it, so now we just need to work on extending control. And if Jack was Jack, I'd imagine Nathan was also Nathan. But if it can be described as having gone even "... well", then that's progress.

Yeah, Nathan was, um. Very Nathan. Unsurprisingly, he's not taking that thing with Dr. Campbell very well. You can kind of see him holding the utensils while he stares at his stomach thinking about how appetizing his own liver would be.

On my part, I think the session might have gone a little smoother if my old doctors from Muir would stop turning up under distressing circumstances. But that's a different problem.

Yes, I've noticed. I think the red hair only gets me one comment per week, though, before he starts glowering, and I've already spent it. For all that, though, I think he's doing better than he was. He just needs more time and possibly more space, only both of those seem in short supply around here.

Please tell me you're running out of old doctors, though.

But how do you really do that sort of call? "Hey, doc, sorry I haven't been in contact - I'm just calling to make sure you're not evil."

I think some of them will take the question with disturbing nonchalance. The world of psychology was handling mental breakdowns and nasty personality backlashes long before mutants evolved to showcase it through exciting powers. Or at least that's the excuse I'll be giving them if they ask.

We should watch the professor.

A fairly believable explanation at that, yes.

And if Charles ever goes evil, none of us will be allowed to notice, I'm sure.
