He's trying to outdo me. He needs to stop. Although perhaps I should go talk to him and we should form a new club - 'Shot By Our Daddies Anonymous'. At least Saul only used a tranquilizer dart with me.

He's probably a mess, although of course he won't let on. Maybe we should hogtie him and carry him off to Charles's office.

I don't even know what's worse, having it be somebody you've never met or somebody you have. I guess it doesn't really matter because with Mystique too now he's got both. I don't even know what I'd say. I don't know if we're ready to reapply the personal experience yet. And it's not exactly comparable. The only thing the professor ever did to me was, um, turn out to be my father and the professor. Simultaneously.

I don't think there's any 'worse' here. It just sucks in both directions for him. I'd offer to get him drunk if I hadn't promised my wife no more excessive drinking. I doubt he'll be up for distraction-through-physical-exertion for a while either, from the sounds of it. Will have to come up with something.

And Charles is still 'the professor', is he? Telling, Jim.

I don't know. The professor's still the professor and Aunt Gaby's still Aunt Gaby. David's still in the middle of the paradigm shift, and we already had a Mom and Dad. So it's complicated. And it's really just added information. I may not have known it before, but they haven't changed at all. I'm just . . . confused.

And if you drink just make sure no one has a Blackberry.
