I managed to translate that Braille bit from the back cover of your book. Suffice it to say that she probably wrote it not long after going blind, because her 'penmanship' is atrocious. Anyway, it comes out as follows:
--Midnight demoness casting the lives of others over her skin, begetter of two children who dwell unknowning beneath the same vault. He, son of her shape and form, and she, the seed who holds her stolen lives within skin unchanging.--
I have no idea what it means, of course, but I'll run it through a text search in case anything pops up.
