It must be in the charter that even graduating from this place won't get you off the hook. I hope Marie-Ange's okay -- I haven't heard any updates to say she's either better or worse, but I guess holding even's not bad, all things considered.
By the way, Angelo did come back from the hospital at some point, right? Though even if not Amanda's probably had enough practice with overworked men in her life to make sure someone steers him towards a quiet chair at some point.
Not that it means much with all the other stuff going on, but yesterday I checked on Laurie after that whole incident with her mother. She was trying to figure out whether or not she wants to take her father up on his offer of getting to know him a little better. I . . . may have sort of encouraged her. Or at least not discouraged her.
Wait until he's conclusively proven evil before murdering me, please.

Subject: You're not kidding.
I'm sort of wondering if leaving my house is going to lead to some other crazy thing.
I mean... Angie chose her own path. There's a lot of ways to leave this place that aren't walking into someplace worse. She knows the risks. But...yeah, hopefully she'll be okay.
I'm not sure if Angelo ever came back. Check the log in records? I'm not pyschic, dude. How am I supposed to know?
...I'm going to hope for the best there too. Not every relative can be a complete loss, right? Right?
I'm going to bake something.

Oh right. You don't live here anymore. That's still weird, considering you always seem to be here anyway.
And I don't know about the relative thing. I mean, you had Zala and Nate had Saul and Gideon and okay, I had the professor but Jack maintains the "not evil" thing is debatable there. And let's not forget Marie, who still seems a little weird about the whole Mystique thing.
I keep thinking I should maybe talk to her about that, but somehow "So, how's the evil-parent situation going?" seems a little abrupt.

That's what happens when you work someplace. You're always there even if you live someplace else. Except on weekends when I have the day off and I can stay home with my puppies, my computer and my DVRed episodes of America's Next Top Model.
Zala isn't evil. Just...not quite as morally upstanding as others.
I think Marie has total room to be weird about the Mystique thing. I've lived with that blue bitch and that was way too much familiarity. The very idea of a familial connection with her makes my skin crawl.
Bring her over for dinner. We'll tag team her.

I don't know if tag-teaming is a great idea. She hasn't been saying much, and I think that might freak her out even if we approach it from the angle of "we've been there, we're here to help." Especially if you can offer anecdotes about just how unpleasant being connected to Mystique is. This kind of thing is a huge shock even if your surprise-relative isn't a member of the Brotherhood, so it might be safer to le
