Scott-

I get where Laurie's coming from, with a desire to "do the right thing". However, in the interest of demonstrating that there are shades of gray out there, even among a group of people dedicated to doing the right thing...

(and at the risk of causing a bell-the-cat firestorm...)

...should someone point out to her that it is very illegal for private citizens to own an SR-71 Blackbird? Granted, there is a somewhat off-the-books agreement with the government about its existence, but from what I recall from the trainee files, that agreement wasn't initially in place when the plane was built.

Anyways, um, food for thought?

I belatedly got that impression, yes. Maybe I need to make a few post-its of my own instead of adding to Mark's stack. Note to self: think first, then email.

I have decided upon a new tactic, namely being silly in a discussion with the other grads in that new community we made.

Can I bribe you with food from one of the fabulous establishments near the Snow Valley Memorial Research Center to make it up to you?
