He seems to be gathering information. News clippings, primarily, that sort of thing - nothing that looks like he's been teleporting places he shouldn't have been and swiping anything, but he looks to have been doing a fairly comprehensive job of assembling publicly available information.

In fact, he's kind of got a 'stalking my father' wall. Dibs on not having to be the one to talk to him about this.

To be fair, there is nothing exactly wrong with information gathering... I cannot say I blame him for being curious and wishing to know more.

But it sounds as if perhaps we should talk to him, if only to see where his head is. We have had far too many encounters with parents-gone-bad to let him continue this alone. Though knowing Kurt he won't want to draw us into it regardless of what we say. It is still worth a try, though.

Nothing wrong with information gathering, but like I said, this looks like he's been doing it all himself. Which does worry me a little, because there's a lot that either or both the Professor or someone over at Snow Valley could find out, if he asked them. If he's not, what does that say about what's going on in his head?

Tag-team, then? In the nice, subtle, non-confrontational sense, I mean.

I don't know... from what I have observed, parents rarely seem to show up in the manner you would like, and never are what you hope they would be. Perhaps it is distorted realism, but I think if we were not orphans we would just have a different set of problems.

You're probably right.

Anyway. Let's give it a day or two once he gets back, to see if he comes to me, having seen that I was in there... might be simplest. If not, then we know there really might be something off about the way he's approaching this.
