Yes, my date was with Forge. I suppose the entire school knows by now, yes?

You did not receive an invitation to my birthday celebration? I am not even sure if it will take place now, what with whatever it is happening now, but my original plan was to leave on Friday evening. I have not told anyone where we would be going, but it was supposed to be Paris. I apologize; I forgot that you were not on the list of people who were notified of my party.

Would you like to receive a personal, official invitation, or will a statement of "Lorna, would you like to attend the celebration of my twentieth birthday this weekend?" suffice.

Not the whole school. Just the parts of it that dress in black leather as second job. He used the word girlfriend and it was, um, picked up on.

Would you give me a personal, official invitation if I asked for one? Could it have the royal seal on it and everything? Because that would be cool. If it's still on, I'll go. If not, we'll reschedule and I'll just bake you a cake. No big deal.

I believe that I am greatly confused at this point. He did not say that it was me? Who did he say it was, then? He is not seeing anyone else, is he?

If you wish to frame the invitation, would you prefer to receive two of them so that you may show both the front and the back of the invitation? Perhaps even a third, blank one to show what the invitation looks like when it is still sealed?

No no no, he didn't say it was anyone. Just said something about missing his girlfriend's birthday. Not being stupid, we managed to figure it out. I really don't think Forge is capable of dating more than one person at a time.
