Letter to Yvette
Feb. 18th, 2008 09:46 pmHow's your Mom? Good, I hope. Hope you're doing well also, and are having a good time. You're going to be coming back, right? Only, it didn't seem like you knew when you left. Seems really quiet in our room with you gone, sometimes too quiet, I've had to start turning on the radio to get to sleep.
I got detention this afternoon, I think Mr Marko is going to be assigning something. I guess they get really upset with you when you miss morning classes one to many times in a row. I've set up an alarm clock though, so now I'm waking up on time.
I miss the apples, you know. I still look for them when I wake up in the morning, and then I remember you're in another country. Don't worry though, I'm still eating breakfast when I can, although it's mostly brunch these days...Okay, so I'm skipping breakfast a lot. It was a lot easier when you were here to give me apples when I forgot. I get so busy sometimes, and it always seems easier to think of someone else's eating habits, and really difficult to remember your own.
Anyway, I have to go, Nori's just came in yelling something about Kyle and the highest level of DDR yet. You'd have thought they'd have beaten it by now, but I suppose it's one of those games that gets endless updates.
Come home soon, okay? We miss you.
Love,
Laurie.
