I don't even know. I'd say I wanted to get out of here, but there's nowhere to go and even I'm not stupid enough to leave this place. I just don't understand. I feel like you're all from another planet, and that I've just managed to live on the sucky one for the past sixteen years.

It's cool. I was pretty twitchy my first... month... here, but I'm Special. and by special, I mean 'dropped on my head'. Yeah, we're pretty much all from planet Crazy. But seriously - rescuing people from screwed up situations is like, a hobby for this place - some of the teachers came out of some pretty screwed up situations. It's more like here is a safe zone from the crap outside.

So. Anyway - there's a rec room that's pretty quiet during the day since we're all in class (I am ignoring a bad substitute in history, which is fine cause, hey, I've got a solid B.) and a couple of sorta unused rooms that are open and have good sunshine. And a library which is hella quiet and has a crazy amount of books (I should know, I got to help arrange them as detention once) - and outside there's a lot of walking paths and a treehouse and just a whole lot of Space. And some good climbing trees. I'd draw a map but, uh, I can barely write legibly - it's a claws thing. If you find a copy of Atlas Shrugged in one of them, feel free to lose it for me. It's kind of a pile of crap and I don't know why I was reading it.

Claws thing?

Tree sounds good. Think I can get out without getting the phone? And this is a really weird question, but any clue as to where I can get a pair of shoes?

I have claws. Fingers and toes, and they make it kinda hard to hold pens right, so my handwriting is pretty awful. I gave up after a year of attempting it. Pens are evil and after I broke about the 20th one, and got ink everywhere, it just wasn't worth it.

Probably not. Forge'll pop up like a ninja robot and hand you one. It's a safety thing, we've had some problems with people deciding they didn't like us and coming in and harassing. It's not fun, but here with phones is better then out there with nothing to keep you safe.

Shoes you might wanna just ask around - they probably have some generic sneakers in the giant box of sweatpants, but I'm not sure, cause, well with the claws comes a hatred of shoes. They are uncomfy and also my feet destroy them. I have weird feet.
